This unique piece belongs to the tradition of Tarot de Besançon-- from the name of the French town where these kinds of cards were originally printed. Produced by Baptiste-Paul Grimaud between 1891 and 1899, this deck curiously substitutes the Arcana of the High Priestess and the Hierophant with the figures of Juno and Jupiter.
