Gordon Pinner is stationed in Paris in 1930. Although he is aware of injustices after the fall of the czar empire, Pinner also sympathizes with the revolution and does not hesitate to infiltrate the community of exiled Russians in Paris. From the hand of a beautiful dancer, he ends up questioning his ideals.
